Referral Bonus Not Paid? The 7 Reasons and How to Fix Each

You used a referral code, did the signup, and the reward never showed up. Before writing it off, walk this list — most "missing" bonuses are one of these seven, and several are still fixable.
1. The qualifying action isn't finished
The most common one. "Get €50" means "get €50 after the condition" — a deposit, a trade, a card payment, a completed order. Open the offer terms and check exactly what triggers payment. If the condition has a minimum amount, hitting €199 of a €200 requirement pays nothing. Fix: complete the missing step before the deadline.
2. Identity verification is pending
Fintech and crypto rewards are frozen until KYC clears. If your documents are "under review", the bonus clock is often paused too. Fix: finish verification, then re-check the rewards tab.
3. The deadline passed
Most offers require the qualifying action within 7–30 days of signup. Miss the window and the bonus is void — support rarely makes exceptions. Fix: none for this account; know the window next time.
4. The code was applied too late (or not at all)
Codes must usually be entered during signup. If you registered first and found the code after, the account isn't linked to any referrer. Fix: some support teams will attach a code within the first days if you ask — worth one polite message.
5. Region mismatch
The offer runs in specific countries; your account is registered elsewhere. The signup works, the bonus never fires. Fix: none — check the region tag before signing up (every code here shows one).
6. Duplicate-account detection
Referral bonuses are strictly for new customers. Same phone number, document, or device as a previous account voids the reward silently. Fix:none, and don't force it — duplicate accounts get banned.
7. The campaign changed under you
Brands rewrite referral terms constantly. A code from an old blog post may reference a dead campaign. Fix:use codes with recent confirmations — that's the entire point of the "% worked" score on every code here.
